The Department of International Politics is composed of 14 teaching staff, among whom six are doctoral supervisors, seven are professors, four are associate professors, and four are lecturers. Many of the faculty members hold positions like directorships and executive directorships in academic associations such as China-World Contemporary History Society, Chinese Association of Scientific Socialism, Chinese Association of American Studies, and Association of British Studies. The faculty has demonstrated distinct research features in areas such as globalization and global issues, international relations theory, ethnic issues, Northeast Asia security, and contemporary Chinese diplomacy.
